Thanks to your efforts, our players always see a complete, compliant and compelling sportsbook offer. You ensure that our product presentation across channels is consistent, attractive and in line with our business goals. You work closely with colleagues from Trading, Product, BI, CRM and our Sports Coordinator. Together, you keep the offer up to date, relevant and responsible.

In this way, you directly contribute to a happy, healthy and sporty Netherlands. As a Sports Trader you score by:

managing and enabling the sportsbook offer per channel, keeping it aligned with business goals and ensuring that events and specials are compiled with margins and availability in mind.
creating and maintaining the content calendar and communicating clear propositions to customers.
ensuring a wide and appealing In-Play and Streaming offer through cooperation with third-party providers.
performing validation and competitor analysis to keep TOTO’s offer current, attractive and competitive.
monitoring website content and product presentation to guarantee a clear and consistent customer experience.
keeping documentation and rulebooks current, and supporting reporting, tooling and automation improvements.

This is probably also something you’d like to know: The sports trading team of the Nederlandse Loterij is very successful. Together with the other traders in the TOTO team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the sportsbook offer is complete, attractive and fully compliant. Football remains our most important sport, but you will be involved in a growing list of other sports as well.

Your talent

The various people who work here like to be on the move, develop themselves on a personal and/or professional level, and strive for profit. That makes everyone within Nederlandse Loterij a top talent. Your talent is the sum of:

1–3 years of experience in sportsbook trading or sports content and pricing.
a passion for sports, especially football, combined with a genuine interest in the betting industry.
strong product sense and sport insight; you translate data and timing into a compelling offer.
high personal integrity, a strong sense of responsibility and a possession of analytical, logical & communication skills.
being computer literate, especially in Microsoft Excel.
attention to detail, flexibility and initiative. You are a team player and thrive in collaborative settings.

Furthermore, for this vacancy you are fluent in English and being a Dutch resident is advantageous. You have a flexible attitude towards working shifts as weekend & evening work will be the norm.

Your score

As a Sports Trader we offer you:

a salary between €3.900,- and €5.400,- gross per month, depending on your experience
a position for 32 - 40 hours per week
a bonus scheme
you can enjoy a healthy and varied lunch in our corporate restaurant for €3,25

Travel allowance

The costs you incur to come to the office are fully reimbursed.

Everything you need to work well: laptop, phone, and a home workspace.

Pension

You build a good pension with us. Each year, 1.75% of your pension base goes to your pension, and you contribute 6.15% yourself.

Hybrid working

Depending on your team, you can work at our modern office in Rijswijk, at home, or another place you like.

Holiday entitlement

During your traineeship at Nederlandse Loterij, you will receive 30 days’ holiday based on full-time employment, a €1.000 flexible budget and an 8% holiday allowance.
