The Architecture team focuses on the management and improvement of the IT architecture. We primary focus on processes, data, and applications. Apart from that, we also monitor infrastructure and security. This is how we give internal teams within Nederlandse Loterij the flexibility and support they need to work efficiently and effectively.
The Development & Operations team is the heart of digital innovation in our organization. It has two main parts: Lottery and iGaming. Together, they are responsible for all our digital products and services.
Within these two parts, four subteams collaborate: Software Development, Quality Assurance (QA), Product, and UI/UX. With over 70 colleagues, we combine technology, creativity, and strategic thinking. We not only develop systems in-house but also manage external suppliers. This way, our Lottery and iGaming products are reliable, innovative, and future proof.
With a team of 25 specialists, we work on Nederlandse Loterij’s data-driven ambitions.
Every day, we process huge amounts of data, sometimes more than 100,000 messages per minute. We use this data for reporting, analytics, fraud detection, responsible gaming, personalization, and compliance.
Using technologies like Azure, IBM, Databricks, DBT, Event Sourcing, Streaming, Terraform, and GraphQL to make data from various systems usable in real time. We also make sure all data follows laws and rules. This helps the organization to make fast and responsible decisions.
The IT department is an important link between the internal stakeholders and the external suppliers of our lottery and gambling systems. We provide Service & Support to all internal and external employees. The department consists of the teams: Support, Workplace Automation, Operations, and Security, with around 20 colleagues.
