An internship or thesis internship

Here, you’ll be able to put your knowledge into practice and have fun doing it! During an internship, we will pair you with a buddy for weekly check-ins. And we have adventures too! Think of sports games or social gatherings. And after your internship? We have lots of opportunities: you could do a traineeship, become a working student or join us as an employee!

An IT or Marketing traineeship

During our IT or Marketing traineeship, you will spend two years working in a minimum of two and a maximum of four teams, sinking your teeth into various projects. For example, in a marketing traineeship, you will work on CRM, Campaigns, Database Marketing and Social. For an IT traineeship, you will fulfil different roles in various IT domains, such as websites for our gaming brands or complex back-end systems. The assignments are tailored to your ambitions and talents. Discover your skills and more importantly, what you would want to learn. During these two years (maximum), you will be in charge of a learning experience that will take you further in your career. Are you ready to grow and develop?

Doing your internship or traineeship: this is what you can expect

We greatly value your development and commitment, because your contribution is valuable to our organisation and to society. Curious about what you can earn? What support you will receive? And how does the application process work? Read on.

Salary. As an intern, you will be paid €450,- gross per month. As a marketing trainee, you will begin with a gross salary of € 3.000,- per month on a full-time basis. As an IT trainee, you will begin with a salary of
€ 3.000,- to € 3.500,- based on full-time employment. Your salary will increase annually.
Personal development plan. You will draw up a personal development plan with the help of your buddy and manager. Every week, you will review your progress with your buddy, and you’ll evaluate with your manager monthly.
Coaching. During your traineeship, we will assign you a Learning and Development coach. You will meet with them every eight weeks. How are you doing so far? Are you on the right track? The Learning & Development coach will help you plan your career.
Intervision. Three times a year, the Learning and Development coach organises intervision sessions where trainees share their experiences.
Activities. As a trainee, of course, you get to take part in all the fun outings. For example, visits to sporting events or special trainee and internship activities.
Selection process. To us, it is not about personality or intelligence tests. We look for motivation and a winner’s mentality. For traineeships, the selection procedure consists of an initial interview with recruitment and the team lead, followed by a video pitch and a second interview with HR and the department head. For internships, the search for a suitable assignment follows an interview with HR.

Travel allowance

As a trainee or intern, do you have to incur costs to get to the office, whether by public or private transport? We will reimburse you in full.

Additional provisions

We will provide you with a laptop, a phone, a home office and a home office allowance of €2 net per day you work from home.

Holiday entitlement

During your traineeship at Nederlandse Loterij, you will receive 30 days’ holiday based on full-time employment, a €1.000 flexible budget and an 8% holiday allowance.

Lunch

For only €3,25 per day, you can enjoy an unlimited, healthy and varied lunch in our company restaurant.

Gym

As an intern or trainee, you have unlimited use of our gym. Our personal trainers are at your disposal.

Development budget

As a trainee, you will receive an annual training budget of up to €2.000, allowing you to invest heavily in your personal development. We encourage this.
